Hlas mučedníků Ženevský žaltář Podporujeme Izrael! Náhradní rodiny Ústeckého kraje

Our congregation during the visit of Tamil lutheran pastor Christian Samraj.

Our parish belongs to Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, which arised from the union of Calvinist a Lutheran Church in 1918. The theological spectrum of ECCB is very broad, reaching from “born-again” kind of christianity to “mainline protestant” modernism.

Our congregation adheres in teaching to the traditional Calvinism of Second Helvetic Confession (1566). Our worship is build on the basic patern of Western liturgy in moderation. Majority of hymns sung in worship date from 15-17th century and are acompanied with organ. Sacrament of Lord's Supper is celebrated monthly, baptised infants receive comunion too (as in the Eastern Church and in Utraquism). We have cordial relationship with several traditional Lutheran congragations abroad.

Our congregtion has about thirty active members. The comunity has warm, cordial atmosphere, thankful for newcommers. In recent years the congragation grew younger; most members are middle-aged, there are ten children. Almost every year we have one-two new members “from outside”. We have and we had several members of foreign nationality. Couple of congegation members speak English pretty well and visitors/new members are cordialy welcomed.
